The Reviews are IN!

“…diva Regina Zona ruled the stage and conquered the hearts of her audience with the most splendid debut show this reviewer has ever had the privilege of attending: confident, sparkling, personal, and a triumph from start to finish.”

This show was more than a fine cabaret debut. It also documented a successful reinvention of self by a musical artist with deeply engrained instincts as an entertainer. Zona reminds us that, while a singing voice may change, a bold, self-assured theatricality can carry you over from one stage to another.”

Mark Dundas Wood, – Read the entire review HERE.

“…the richness of the queen’s voice and the depth of her interpretations has to come from many years of experience. It is true that the diva has had an extensive career in opera…and classical recital, but none of that accounted for her flawless diction and dramatic and comic phrasing that got to the heart of the lyrics of her selections.”

Bart Greenberg, – Read the entire review HERE.

“Regina Zona is showcasing a vocal talent of incredible wealth, so much so that even if she hadn’t done her audience the honor of composing a delightful script that shares her personal story, even if she had gone the Recital Route and stood on stage and sung for sixty minutes, this would be a show worth seeing. Instead, she chose a more difficult path, one in which she opens herself up and shares her core being with her patrons of the art, and that is what puts her over the top in their hearts. Listening to a great singer is always a joy and pleasure, but getting to know them during their hour-long set is a memory in the making.

And people aren’t going to forget Regina Zona any time soon.”

After decades of showing off in the opera and classical singing world, Regina has begun her exciting SECOND ACT as a Cabaret Artist.

Following her critically acclaimed one-woman show, “Becoming…the Queen: One Woman’s Self-Help Journey to Authenticity,” internationally recognized vocalist, Regina Zona presented her debut Cabaret in 2019 which celebrates how good it is to be “QUEEN” in her career, life and love.

“Becoming…the Queen 2.0: When One Coronation is a Lifetime is Not Enough” is an epic show that showcases every style from opera to broadway to jazz and takes the audience on a journey right through Regina’s life as an opera Diva (specifically the iconic Queen of the Night), her secret desire to be a Fosse dancer, her fulfilling career as a voice teacher and how she is growing older gracefully and fabulously!

Regina’s phenomenal Music Director is Jonathan K. Parks and the show is directed by the incomparable Lina Koutrakos. She is joined by two fabulous musicians, Sean Murphy on bass and Mike Lunoe on drums.
